The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, on Sunday, said that happenings in Nigeria have vindicated its position that the Nigerian union was unsustainable. One of the militant groups operating in the Niger Delta, Oro Freedom FightREAD)ers, OFF, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari, to heed to its demand for the announcement of Niger Delta Republic or face the battle from its Hong Kong-trained 50-man battalion. They claim the 50-man battalion will be arriving Oro Nation later this week. The message came through the Spokesman of the group, General Hakuna, where they threatened to storm Nigeria with 50-man battalion. The group had earlier demanded the creation of Atlantic state from the Buhari-led administration. I was shocked to watch the live proceedings of the House of Representatives as covered by NTA2 and saw that the bill calling for the criminal aspects of Islamic Sharia law to be implemented in our legal system in Nigeria at the Federal and states passed the second reading on Thursday, October 28, 2016. General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Ministries Inc, (By Fire By Fire), Nnewi, Anambra State, Bishop Abraham Chris Udeh has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately restructure the country into six regions. The rift between the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)  and  the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Niger Delta (MEND) continued yesterday with IPOB blasting  MEND. IPOB insisted that Nnamdi Kanu has no plan to renounce the Biafra whether in secret or otherwise. IPOB in a statement yesterday described the statement by MEND as frivolous, misleading, malicious and baseless. MEND had expressed displeasure with alleged attempt by Kanu and IPOB to distance themselves from the concessions secured by it from the Federal Government, saying that Kanu wanted to renounce Biafra in secret but Federal authorities insisted that he must do it in public. Mr Vincent Egechukwu Obetta made history late last year when he took up a brief to defend the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mr Nnamdi Kanu who was arrested and detained since October last year.
